well I said it, the anime ouran high school host club! the anime has 26 episodes and it’s genre is: gender bender, romance and schoolife.

OURAN HIGH SCHOOL HOST CLUB – what is it about?

ouran host club is about the girl Haruhi, who is a poor, smart and a not truly female-looking girl. she enters a very rich school, because she is very smart, but she doesn’t have the money for a girls uniform. that’s why she’s dressed in a sweater and jeans on her first day on school. also is her hair short and messy, because of a accident with gum.

the school. I would so totally get lost in a school like this

when Haruhi is looking for a quite place she stumbles upon the host club, who is a club of goodlooking guys who are like hosts to the girls of the school. the boys, thinking she is a boy, decided that she has to join them and work as a host, when she breaks on accident a priceless vase. later on they find out she is a girl, but because everybody in the school already thinks she is a boy, they decide to cover up for her. Tamaki, who is the wellknown prince of the host club, falls in love on Haruhi and also the rest of the club, starts showing feelings for her.

A prequel that tells the story of how the twins were convinced to help form the club.

Haruhi’s class has a Halloween event – The Halloween Special Fear Trial Tournament- in which groups do their best to scare the living daylights out of each other! The class rep isn’t so keen on this idea, though, and enlists Haruhi to help him. Kaoru, meanwhile, contemplates a sad truth.

When the son of a gangster, Kasanoda Ritsu, seeks Mori for tips on how to change his scary image and gain friends, the Host Club immediately jumps at the opportunity to change his image. However, Kasanoda ends up discovering Haruhi’s secret.

Kasanoda joins the Host Club, but as a customer. When he insists on Haruhi as his host, the other hosts get nervous and the clients get excited.

Kyouya recalls when he first meets Tamaki two years ago. He initially put up with Tamaki’s odd requests but eventually snapped. From that point on, however, Kyouya could be his real self in front of Tamaki and they became true friends.

The Host Club participates in the annual school festival. However, the arrival of Eclair brings an unforeseen turn of events.

The Host Club must race against time to keep Tamaki in Japan and save the club from disbanding. Last episode 

my opinion:
this is a good anime for someone who wants to laugh. because the humor in it is probably the reason why most people would watch it. second is the story. it’s not a allways-the-same romance story, but not that extra different either. the twins in this serie give you a little bit a shonen-ai feeling on the beginning. later it gets less. so you have to be able to watch shonen-ai scenes, but don’t worry there are not much of those scenes.

I think that in this clip Kawabe-san is sometimes a little bit playbacking-like, but a well what the hack.. the clip is so funny and cute!!!

who’s the girl here, you think?

the first manga I ever read was hana kimi (atually it is hanazakari no kimitachi e, but short it’s hana kimi). it’s a manga about an american girl, Mizuki Ashiya, who is trully fond of the Japanese highjumper Izumi Sano. when he stops highjumping, she decieds to go to him and find out why. but Izumi Sano is in a all-boys school, so she disguises herself as a boy to get close to Sano. but of course it’s not gonna be easy as a girl to live in an al-boys school, deffenitely not when you even have to share your room with your idol.

it was my first but was fantastic, trully! it’s very nice drawn and there’s a lot of humor too. what I also realised was that the story was not allways about Ashiya, but that there where a lot of short story’s about here friends she makes.

I was happily suprised that there has been a Jdrama made of this manga. I watched the first episode yesterday, and I must say that it was pretty good. for those who have read the manga it is quite hard to says who is who on the first sight. because the characters in the Jdrama are looking very different then those of the manga. Sano for example has short hair in the manga, but long hair in the Jdrama. so this was quite annoying. also was the story not totally the same as the manga. there where little things added want made it sometimes more funny or a little weird, but for those who haven’t read the manga yet it shouldn’t be a problem to follow the Jdrama.

so, if I have to give a mark,

hi there,

ohh.. glowing hands..

 this is gonna be my first post, so don’t expect to much of it! no just kidding ; D
i started to watch an anime lately by the name: the law of ueki. i though i might share it with you guys, so here’s first a introducion of what it is about and then my opinion.

well, the law of ueki is an anime for i think 10 till 16 year olds. it’s about a boy, ueki, who recieves special powers from his tutor. he can change any trash into trees. together with Mori, a friend of him, he tries the get stonger so that he can beat the people who are after him. his enemy’s are also powerusers. they fight him because of the competition they are in. it’s so that the one who can beat all the others will get the blank zai, on which he/she can write everything he one’s. with other words he/she can wish for anything. ueki believes in the right justice and wants to protect the blank zai, for falling into bad hands.

 well, that for the short introduction. i think this anime is very funny and it has a lot of different characters, who make this anime so interesthing. what i also noticed is that in this anime you don’t see blood. if you know bleach or naruto, you will notice this anime also has his action but the fighting is less more. i you like this kind of action more, then i deffinitely recommend this anime. oh and one think, ueki the major character is in his way of acting a lot like luffy from one piece, which cracked me up if you know what i mean.
